Would you like to distribute your zine through the Scope Creep Distro? We're taking tentative steps to expand our catalog.
Open to submissions in October and November 2026.
Submit your zine
Step 0: Make your zine.
Step 1: Send a copy of your zine. Please include creator byline (it's okay if it's anonymous), publisher (it's okay if this is the same as the creator), price (the price paid by customers), publication date (year alone is fine), and contact info (email alone is fine). This can be in the form of a cover letter or a semi-legible scrawl on a Post-It note stuck in the envelope. Mail zines to:

Step 2: We'll review your zine and add it to our library. (Even if we don't purchase copies for the distro, it may still get some reads that way.)
Step 3: If we're interested in adding your zine to the distro, we'll contact you to purchase copies.
Note: We recognize that the cost of mailing is a barrier for zinesters of limited financial means, particularly those outside the U.S. We'll likely have a call for digital samples sometime in the future.
What do we want?
The current and forthcoming Scope Creep Press zines lean toward fiction and how-to texts. Generally speaking, we're looking for text-heavy work rather than art zines, but do have interest in comics. We're more interested in your hyperfixations than your perzines, your standalone work than your serial.
We like the handmade aesthetic (think hand-stapled rather than a small print run) and lower cover prices. (But fair prices; creators deserve to be paid for their work.) Though zines published by Scope Creep Press are typically available digitally, we are not interested in distributing digital zines.
Marginalized zinesters are particularly encouraged to submit.
When do we want it?
Send zines in OCTOBER and NOVEMBER 2026. (Depending on how this experiment goes, we may repeat it sometime next year.) Zines mailed outside of that time frame will be considered presents, not potential additions to the distro.
Terms
Scope Creep will pay a 50% wholesale price for your zines. Payment will be made in a mutually-agreeable way (Paypal, check, credit card, etc.) We're likely to buy small quantities, 5 to 10 copies, in this initial round.
After we've bought them, selling the zines is our problem. They will be listed for sale online, potentially sold at in-person events, etc.
